Good morning, from across the sea!
Here we are, two girls abroad, living an incredible adventure. Right now, we are looking out of the window from our classroom, and we see it’s this lovely city: Cambridge!
Everything makes us feel like we are living in a dream.
This is already our second week in the UK, and we’ve had many exciting experiences.
We’ve also met people from all over the world, including China, Russia, Nigeria, and many other countries.
It’s fascinating to see their behavior and customs. For example, we have found out that Chinese people are really rice lovers.
We’ve noticed that a lot of them buy huge packs of rice and then eat it almost every day.
Our day starts at 8 a.m. when the alarm rings, and then we have breakfast in the school canteen.
Lessons begin at 9:20 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.
Each day is overwhelming with new emotions, experiences, and things to try.
We regularly go to the city centre in our free time.
The city is beautiful—it feels like being inside a fairy tale book, with buildings that look like castles and alleys surrounded by enchanted houses. Even the weather, which is often foggy, makes everything more magical and mysterious.
Everything here is different from what we are used to in Italy, even the way people drive, but we are not afraid of stepping outside our comfort zone, and we are enjoying every single minute.
